Our Logo Design Process

Our comprehensive logo design strategy ensures a perfectly crafted logo for your business.

Exploration

First and foremost, we seek to get to know the client. To understand the client and their needs, we must ask questions and develop a clear understanding of their business, their industry and the issues they have been having.

We can complete this initial phase of graphic design over the phone, in person, using an online design questionnaire or simply via email. Ultimately, the purpose of our expolation is to help the designer understand the project, so the more they know, the better they can communicate through the initial design concepts.

Sketches

Exploration is followed by conceptualization – sketching and developing the logo around the given brief and the research we would have made. Every great logo design starts with a sketch. Creating a logo demands critical thinking, creative input, and methodical planning. With this in mind, our designer gets to work with a piece of paper and a pencil. Further development of the logo sketches may take the form of grids and lines being drawn to balance and align things correctly.

The result of the conceptualization process is a couple of design options (a sizable number of different sketches) to show the client, as well as getting their feedback and refining the chosen sketch until a specific design concept is agreed upon.

Digitization

One way to etch logos onto people mind is to have them visually accessible, i.e. on clothes, embroidered, usually done via Logo Digitizing. Logo Digitizing is just like any other digitizing process, it converts the image of a logo into specific commands which embroidery machine can read and interpret in a specific, streamlined and automated fashion. Logo digitizing can be done as appliques and thus can be embroidered on a certain fabric and attached to any other fabric later or can be done as a 3D/puff design to highlight certain elements within the design. With logo digitizing, the best part is that even minute details can be captured within the digitized design by using specific stitches like running or walking stitches.

Our superlatively talented and expertly trained digitizers can turn any logo of your business or personal brand into a digital embroidery design, all according to the conditions stipulated to us by the customer when submitting the digitizing order. Customers can further utilize the specialized embroidery options like puff and applique to make their logos have much more visual impact than with their just 2D/flat self. Moreover, we pride ourselves with being able to appease the needs of diversified clientele and hence can provide the design in particular formats for your specific embroidery machines.

Color

Choosing a color for a logo is far more than just simply selecting a shade that looks good. In order to make the correct choice, it’s important that we look at the overall message the business is trying to communicate with their branding. We then look to the psychology of color to determine what is most fitting since every color has an emotional effect. Roughly 80% of the color choice process is spent researching color, and about 20% is trying the different colors on the logos.

Perhaps a client wants to express a message of tranquility, while another may want to showcase that their products are organic or eco-friendly. We may focus on different shades of blue to represent tranquility for one brand, and for another we may try out different shades of green to represent some “go-green” initiatives that are important to the company values. Clients will have the opportunity to see the logo they have selected in various colors and shades before making their final decision. Ultimate Goal: To choose a color that looks good with the logo but also reflects the underlying message the brand is trying to express through design.

Final Logo

Once the entire logo process is complete, usually after about two weeks-pending the rate of feedback, clients are provided with a logo that embodies the culture of their company, with a design that is a core component to their brand identity. They’re supplied the logo in every formatting or size they may need, to ensure that it will work for any use in the future. A good logo is an effective way to build brand credibility and awareness through consistency in various marketing tactics, and foster a connection between your industry, and your particular offerings.

Once the client is happy with the resulting logo, the designer will produce a variety of file types that can be used for various outputs. Upon delivery of the final files, it is time to think about employing the logo on marketing materials and promotional products. Many times our designer will continue working with the client to create a full brand identity system using the new logo.
